The Town Clerk explained that previously the Council had decided to host hustings for elections but these had since ceased and explained that this would be an opportunity to restore this important event which would hopefully lead to increased voter participation for the upcoming Senedd election.

RESOLVED
To host hustings for the Senedd Election in 2026 in the Town Hall and to remit the event to the Events & Planning Committee for organisation.
