Decision:
The Town Clerk and the Chair of the Finance & Governance Committee, Cllr Morag Bailey summarised the budget and explained that the budget has been reviewed line by line over the last few months with all committees suggesting areas for change and inclusion.
The budget contains savings of around £86k and increased costs of around £125k, of which £40k are contractual and unbudgeted expenditure from the current year. The budget also includes an additional £45k for new expanded projects with the Strategic Plan and £20k for topping up general reserves.
Members thanked the Town Clerk for his clear reports and presentation of the budget.

To approve and adopt the proposed budget for 2026/2027.
