Decision:

The outgoing Mayor opened the meeting and asked for nominations. One nomination was received from the floor for Cllr William Rowell, which was proposed, seconded and unanimously approved.

Cllr Phil Owen then passed the Chain of Office to the new Mayor and the declaration of office was made and signed.

RESOLVED
To elect Councillor William Rowell as Chair and Town Mayor for the 2026/27 municipal year.
