Councillors were concerned about the 'best dressed' competition. Cllr Kelly Meredith agreed to give the Events Manager 'rules' for such a competition, used at one of their events.
Councillors agreed that sponsorship should be looked into for the event.
Councillors went through the Officers' recommendations one by one.
RESOLVED
To delegate the selection of the Carnival King/Queen and attendants to the Events and Markets Manager in consultation with Cllr Bill Rowell and Cllr Morag Bailey.
