Councillors were concerned that the acts listed in the report were expensive for what they were offering.
Cllr Phil Owen said rock bands playing covers would be much more successful, and suggested that a local band play as a supporting act.
RESOLVED
To ask officers to investigate options for local bands and liaise with the organisers of the Music Festival and report back to the Events and Planning Committee in October.
