1. WELCOME AND APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
The Chair will welcome Councillors and members of the public and will receive, and if desired, resolve to approve, any apologies for absence.

To receive and resolve if desired, declarations of interest and relevant dispensations.

To receive members of the public who wish to address the meeting, in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. To approve and sign as a correct record, the minutes from the meeting of the Events & Planning Committee on 01/10/2025.
4.2. Matters Arising
To report for information purposes only matters arising from the Events & Planning Committee on 10/01/2025.
5. TOURISM
5.1. Report from the Tourist Information Centre
To receive a report from the TIC Manager on the footfall, train tickets and holidays and other matters related to the Tourist Information Centre.
5.2. Tourism Branding Project
To consider the report and the recommendations from the Town Clerk in respect of the project.
6. BUSINESS PLANNING & FINANCIAL MATTERS
6.1. ISP Action Plan
To consider the approved committee ISP action plan.
6.2. Budget and Committee Finance (Month 7)
To consider the current spending position against the budget for the committee for October 2025. (Month 7).
6.3. Budget 2026/2027 - Draft 2
To consider the Draft 2 budget for 2026/2027 having regard to the instruction from Full Council to make
additional savings where required.
7. EVENTS
7.1. Winter Festival
To receive an update and further recommendations on the Winter Festival event.
To note the bad weather plan.
7.2. Flicks in the Sticks
The screenings 'And then come the nightjars' took place on Monday, 6th October 2025 and 'Bonhoeffer:
Pastor. Spy. Assassin' took place on Monday, 3rd November 2025.
The Christmas screening 'Last Christmas' will take place on Monday, 1st December 2025.
