Decision:

County Cllr Richard Church explained that the road closure of Union/Brook Street is expected to start shortly and that he and County Cllr Graham Breeze explained it was running behind schedule.

A query was raised regarding the temporary traffic lights at Church Street/Broad Street/Severn Street/Berriew Street and members asked the Town Clerk to write to the relevant authorities on both the Brook Street closure and the temporary traffic lights to give our concerns over impact on the town centre and traffic.

Cllr Kelly Meredith joined the meeting.

RESOLVED
To ask the Town Clerk to write to the relevant authorities highlighting the issues raised regarding the closure of Berriew/Union Street and the temporary traffic lights in the town centre.
