The minutes and recommendations of the Finance & Governance Committee were considered.
Members discussed the arrangements for the scrutiny of payments, including the need to ensure that councillors undertaking the role received appropriate training. Cllr Jackson Quarrell volunteered to scrutinise the December payments in January.
The Committee's recommendations relating to the draft Maternity and Family Friendly Policy and Artificial Intelligence Policy were also considered.
RESOLVED
To adopt the draft Maternity & Family Friendly Policy, subject to the agreed amendment regarding contact during maternity leave and clarification of the annual leave provisions.
