5. TOURISM & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
5.1. Tourist Information Centre
To receive a report from the Community Services Manager on the footfall, train tickets and holidays and other matters related to the Tourist Information Centre.
5.2. Tourism Branding Project - Welshpool Voucher
To consider the report from the Town Clerk in respect of the Welshpool Voucher aspect of the approved Tourism Branding Project.
5.3. Pay What You Can Parking - May
To receive an update on the Pay What You Can parking scheme to date.
6. BUSINESS PLANNING & FINANCIAL MATTERS
6.1. Interim Strategic Plan Action Plan
To consider the approved committee Interim Strategic Plan action plan.
6.2. Budget and Committee Finance (Month 1)
To consider the current spending position against the budget for the committee for April (Month 1).

To discuss the future event, Welshpool Fair Trade (Cllr William Rowell).
7.2. Farmers market update
To receive an update on the possibility of holding a Farmers' Market in the Town Hall.
7.3. Flicks in the Sticks
Brassed off, 45 in attendance, tea/coffee/cakes £65 Donations £32.84 -£7 cakes = £90.84
Summer break - Next screening of 'One Life' will take place on Monday, 7th September, in the Corn Exchange.
7.4. Walking Festival
To consider any updates in respect of the proposed Walking Festival (Cllr William Rowell).
7.5. Dance Festival
To consider any updates in respect of the proposed Dance Festival (Cllr Phil Owen).
7.6. Carnival update
To consider a report from the Events and Markets Manager from the Carnival Working Group meeting held on 25th April 2026.
7.7. Christmas Lights
To consider the report from the Town Clerk in respect of Christmas Lights.
7.8. 1940's Weekend
To consider what support the Council can give to the 1940s event which may include election of a councillor to the committee, grant funding or other support. A. Crowe to attend to answer any queries.
