The Chair will welcome Councillors and members of the public and will receive, and if desired, resolve to approve, any apologies for absence.

To receive and resolve if desired, declarations of interest and relevant dispensations.

To receive members of the public who wish to address the meeting, in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. 5. REPORT FROM THE TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE
To receive a report from the TIC Manager on the footfall, train tickets and holidays and other matters related to the Tourist Information Centre.
6. COMMITTEE FINANCE (MONTH 6)
To note the current spending position against the budget for the committee for September 2025 (Month 6)
7. BUDGET 2026/2027 - DRAFT 1
To consider the Draft 1 budget for areas of responsibility, the ISP action plan and identify any changes/additions as appropriate.
8. WINTER FESTIVAL
To consider a report on the Winter Festival following a meeting held on 8th September 2025.
22. CHRISTMAS TREE COMPETITION
To decide if the Council holds a Christmas tree competition. All proceeds go to the Community Church for the cost of putting on a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, for those unable to provide themselves with a Christmas dinner.
9. WALKING FESTIVAL
To receive an update on the Walking Festival (Cllr Bill Rowell).
10. DANCE FESTIVAL
To receive an update on the Dance Festival (Cllr Phil Owen).
11. FLICKS IN THE STICKS
To note the next screening will be 'And then come the Nightjars' on 6th October at 7pm.
12. BOOK SALE
To receive an update on the Book Sale and decide which charities should receive the funds raised.
13. CARNIVAL EVENT REVIEW
To consider the report regarding the Carnival Event Review and decide a way forward for 2026.
14. REMEMBRANCE SERVICES
To consider the report from officers regarding remembrance services.
